One stop shopping for the discerning clubgoer and/or nascent DJ: techno, house, d&b, hip hop etc. on vinyl and CD, clothes and mags, the only thing not in stock is ecstasy. As a bonus: interesting selection of used disco and 80's pop vinyl...lest we forget.

Best club culture store in Berlin: besides techno, Space Hall is well-stocked in hip hop, dance, trip hop, drum and bass, ambient, house, even indie/alternative. Any shop that has the housey soundtrack of an early Parker Posey indie flick is worth a visit.

Now in its 11th year, just like the Love Parade, this electronic dance music store, distributor and mailorder company is a fave with the rave cognoscenti. Carries CDs and vinyl (many imports), mixtapes, DJ tools and accessories such as slipmats, bags, carrying cases, pickups, cartridges and earplugs.

This unassuming and small store is worth a second look, because this store like no other demonstrates the continuum between disco, danceable new wave and today's electronic dance musics. Browsing through the racks of vinyl is indeed both a history lesson and a chance to catch the newest sounds. The attentive, but unobtrusive owner will gladly answer any questions.
