A stalwart of the Kreuzberg scene, this mixed club has a variety of
different gigs and events happening every week. Wednesday night draws
in three-quarters of the gay men in Europe and Monday night´s
techno "Electric Ballroom" attracts gays and hard techno fans alike.
Worth seeing is the once monthly "Gayhane", a gay Turkish evening,
where male belly dancers are only part of the entertainment on offer.
At other times during the week the club holds an eclectic mix of parties
or live gigs by bands (some quite famous) who are usually dressed
in black.

Schwuz is the oldest gay club in Berlin. Now located below Melitta
Sundström, it has had many locations. It´s a club which
plays mainstream music more than techno. The nightly themes change
from House to Oldies to Latin. In the earlier hours of the evening,
the crowd is mixed, lesbians, gay men, drag queens and hetero friends.
By 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning it becomes a party of mostly men.
As is often the case, lesbians seem to go home earlier...
