Boat Tours

When the weather is good and you have a free afternoon, a tour on the rivers and canals which criss-cross Berlin offers a relaxing alternative to busy streets and crowded busses. There are a few boat tours which offer commentary in English, but don't expect it to be the most brilliant. Try a Bratwurst and Pils (frequently provided on board) and enjoy the sites from sea level.
